19th Century Figure Eight Style Leather Baseball. This ball was likely made by a shoemaker/cobbler in the 1880’s -1890’s. The ball, as is often the case with 19th century baseballs, is undersized, with a circumference of approximately 7.5 inches and a weight of 2.4oz. All original with some separation in stitching.
